Frequently asked questions

Your employer would like to know more about the employment history of employees. This allows us to check whether your employer has a right to a subsidy. We understand if you have questions about this. We will give you more information below.

1.       I received a questionnaire. What can I do with this?

Would you please help us by filling in the questionnaire and sending it? The questions concern your employment history and any benefits you may have received.

2.       Why do you want to know whether I received a benefit?

If you have received a benefit, then your employer may have a right to a subsidy. For example for contributing to wages during illness. This is why your employer would like to know which employees receive or received a benefit. You can make this transparent for us by filling in this questionnaire.

3.       Yes, I received a benefit. Do you want to know more about this?

Yes. In that case you probably have a letter about this from the UWV or the tax authorities. We would like you to send a copy of this. Do you no longer have the letter? That is no problem.

4.       No, I did not receive a benefit. Is it still important that I fill in the questionnaire?

Yes, please! We do not know this without a reaction and you will receive a reminder then.

5.       I am no longer in service. Is it still important that I fill in the questionnaire?

Yes, please! We can help employers up to 5 years back.

6.       Am I required to cooperate with this?

No. Cooperation is on voluntary basis. Nevertheless, we still hope you want to help us and fill in the questionnaire.

7.       How did you get my information?

We received your information from your employer. This is how we can do our study.

8.       What do you do with the information I share?

We can understand that you do not want to share your information just like that. This is why we handle this carefully. We do this in accordance with the Privacy Act. We use your information only to request subsidies with the UWV or the tax authorities. Does your employer have a right to a subsidy? Then we will only share your information with the colleagues of your employer who need this for their work. In addition, we will remove your information from our system, after we complete the investigation.

9.       What do I have to gain from this?

Filling in the authorisation has no advantages or disadvantages for you. Nothing will change in your situation.

10.   Does filling it in influence my benefit history?

No. Nothing will change in your situation.

11.   Why do I receive a reminder?

Sometimes we do not receive a reaction. Then you will receive a reminder. This can be done by Email, text message, mail or by telephone. We will then ask you to still cooperate with the study.

12.   I have filled in the questionnaire. Why do I receive an authorisation?

In the questionnaire you indicated that you were receiving or requesting a benefit. This means that your employer could possibly receive a subsidy. We would like you to fill in the authorisation and send it back to us. With the authorisation we are allowed to request a target group statement with the UWV. Your employer needs this statement to receive any subsidies.

13.   I did not fill in a questionnaire. Why do I receive an authorisation?

You are listed in the target group register of the UWV. This means that your employer can receive a subsidy. We therefore want you go sign the authorisation digitally. We can request a target group statement with the UWV with the authorisation. Your employer needs this statement to receive any subsidies.

14.   What is a target group register?

The target group register is a national register, which includes all people who fall under the job agreement. UWV manages this register. The Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment use this to check whether employers are complying with the agreements. For example, by creating jobs for people with an occupational impairment. Employers are allowed to check with your social security number whether you are listed in the target group register and whether you count for the job agreement. This way your employer may be eligible for a subsidy.
